We are very pleased to announce that Independent Opera (under the auspices of William and Judith Bollinger) will take over the funding of Wigmore Hall’s International Song Competition in 2019, 2021 and 2023, building on the 20-year legacy of the Kohn Foundation’s sponsorship. We are very pleased to have found a sponsor so quickly and to be able to guarantee a future for the competition.
We are also very pleased to announce that Peter Kellner (bass) will receive the 2017 Wigmore Hall/Independent Opera Voice Fellowship. Awarded to a competitor from the 2017 International Song Competition, the Voice Fellowship provides funding of £10,000 and mentoring under the auspices of Wigmore Hall.
